    1. I honestly think they change colors! From day to day, we can't decide if they are grey, green, or about the same color as her hair. :)

    1. You can try adding them to a shake or smoothie. My kids love smoothies made with about 5 grapes, 1/2 banana, 1/2 cup of yogurt, 1/2 cup juice or milk. Sometimes I add a few berries or just a bit of chocolate syrup to sweeten things a little more. The kids think of it like a dessert. ;)

Making it fun is a great thing to do also. Making a sandwich with peanut butter and sliced fruit. My kids like strawberries and bananas. I put fruit in their lunches with little toothpicks and they love eating them that way. I also give them cream cheese or other dip to go with apples. I hope this helps! Good luck~

    1. YES! I love to dress her in little girl things still! She has a pair of purple jeans that she just loves to wear with this little top with a butterfly on it. ;) She chooses most of her clothes and I just say no to the ones I feel are inappropriate. So, I mainly leave it to her. But I don't think you should dress them too old! "Childish" clothes are sweet and lovable and you should put them on her as long as you can! ;)

    2. Yes, she has her days! Usually, she gets upset about one little thing or is tired and acts up for a while. We don't have many tantrums anymore, but she still cries occasionally when I tell her no. Does that make sense? Just remember to take them away from whatever situation they are in (to the best of your ability) and stay calm! Kids this age are still learning to express their emotions and sometimes do not have the right words to really tell us about their frustrations. Every kid does have their rough days! My older kiddos have off days too!

    3. how do you control her?

    4. Honestly, my goal is for Miss Sass to control herself. I provide opportunities for her to exercise control over her emotions and her choices. Kids learn very quickly, so long as we as parents are consistent. If you help her learn from mistakes by giving logical consequences, she will realize that it is within her power to change the outcome next time.

      Examples:
If she doesn't clean her room and you have to do it... she doesn't get to stop by the park later because you are too tired from cleaning up her mess.

If she says something rude to you like, "I don't like you" or "You're not a good Mommy", choose not to do something nice for her because she hurt your feelings.

Kids are very manipulative, usually without even realizing it. You are teaching them the appropriate way to get what they want with your response to their behavior.

    1. We keep our kids' names quiet for the most part, just to be on the safe side. ;) But she has several nicknames, including: Sis, Little Miss Sass, Princess, A, and combinations thereof. ;) Feel free to use whatever!

  9. can you recomend a cute party dress for my just turned 6 year old?

  10. PARTY DRESS Anon- I am a huge fan of GAP for party dresses, though you usually have to shop at the right time of the year. Department stores are great almost all year round! My favorite brands are Ooh La La Couture, Juicy for girls, Biscotti, etc. Chasing Fireflies is a great way to shop for girls because they have tons of adorable brands! Good luck finding the right dress. ;)
